about
"The ritual involved in the above track. 5 huge sky burial towers arranged in a circle and connected with esoteric glyphs. The narrator cuts his 5 essential parts (mind, body, soul, memory and the 'other' self that exists beyond this plane of reality) away and lays them on each appropriate tower. He then fades to nothingness slowly as each part is devoured and utterly destroyed. His last realisation is that long after he is gone, these monoliths will continue to stand, awaiting the next person etc to sacrifice themselves."

lyrics
'Towers of Silence'
Grave charnels, telluric pentagram
Embossed with arcane monoliths
Erroded by esoteric cuneiform
They loom as sentinels of Ayin
Born with inherent craving for suicide
I shall self-immolate upon these Shrines
*My dualism, double-aspected,
Aetheric suffering vexes insight
A ritual of fasting, harrowing and bleak
In aeonic cycles to strip banality
*Until all sensation is illusion
Abased before these totems of sacrifice
My carcass will journey beyond time
Transcending tridimensional paths
To aphotic, subtle domains
A labyrinth fractured from tangible perception
Severed from history
The new becomes impossible
An epoch of entropy
A pilgrimage towards division
(The acheronian remnants
Arrayed in tribute to negation
The aborted spiritual wraith
Cleft from mortal carrion flesh
Evanescent, ascending through oblivion
Whilst my corporeal anatomy decays
What deity may witness ceremonials,
And confuse this scourging for oblation?)
*Though I choose not, redemptive penitence
Seeking silence through cessation
*And when my being is annihilated
No particles of existence shall endure
*Still those monuments to abstract death remain
Oppressive eyries of invective malevolence
My carcass will journey beyond time
Transcending tridimensional paths
To aphotic, subtle domains
A labyrinth fractured from tangible perception
